Spatio Architects

You can find us at 1/33 on 2nd Avenue in Sundar Nagar. We are based in Ekkaduthangal, right behind that big Olympia Tech Park building. It is a bit of a contrast, having all those huge glass buildings so close to our quieter street. Spatio Architects is where we do our daily work. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just drop in when they are passing by. We deal with architectural plans and figuring out how to build things properly in this part of Chennai. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except when people are commuting to the tech park. We like the location because it is central enough to get anywhere in the city without too much trouble. Inside, we have a couple of large desks and a lot of sketches pinned to the walls. It is a practical space, not meant for showing off. We spend a lot of time on site too, checking on how things are going. It is hard work, but we enjoy seeing things get built from the ground up. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but that is just how it is in Ekkaduthangal. We have been here for a while and know the local rhythms well. Most of our days are spent focusing on the details of whatever project is on the desk at the moment.
