Snehas Catering

Snehas Catering operates out of Indra Nagar, right near the CPWD Quarters. We have been in this part of Thiruvanmiyur for years, and most of our work comes from families living around Adyar and the 28th Cross Street. It's a quiet enough area to get our cooking done without too much trouble. We don't have a storefront where you can come and sit down; we are strictly about getting food ready and sending it out to wherever the party is happening. My mother started this because she was always the one everyone asked to cook for temple functions and housewarmings. Now, we have a small team helping us out with the chopping and the cleaning. Our kitchen is at Plot 470-A No 60, and it’s usually humming with activity from early morning. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just big pots and traditional ways of doing things that we learned growing up. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have three orders on the same day, but we haven't missed a deadline yet. We get our vegetables from the local market every day to keep things moving. It’s hard work, and your hands always smell like spices, but it’s a good way to earn a living in 600041. We just focus on making sure the food is ready and hot when it reaches the client without any major issues or delays.
