Smd Machinery is located on the second floor of a building at No:1-138, Vinayagapuram Main Road. We are right in the MMDA Colony area of Arumbakkam. It’s a lively part of the city, and the traffic on the main road can be quite something during the rush hours. Being on the second floor helps us get away from some of the street noise, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. We deal with various types of machinery and parts. Our office is more like a workshop in some corners, with parts organized on metal shelves. We don't have a fancy elevator, so we get our exercise taking the stairs every day. The people around here are mostly small business owners like us. We’ve been in Arumbakkam for a while now and have seen the shops change hands many times. Our team is small, just a few people who understand how these machines work. We spend most of our time answering the phone or showing people how a specific part fits. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there; we just want to do our work on Vinayagapuram Main Road and go home to our families at the end of the day.
