Smd Engineering Equipments & Systems

Our shop, Smd Engineering Equipments & Systems, is at No. 2, Varriyar Street. That’s in Vivekananda Nagar, over in the Avadi part of Chennai. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but it’s a good place for a workshop like ours. We deal with various engineering systems. It’s mostly about getting the equipment built and tested properly. The weather in Chennai is almost always humid, which makes for a sweaty workday, but we have some big fans that help us out. We aren't a big, polished company with a HR department or anything. We’re just a small group of workers who show up every morning. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a clean showroom to show off. Our space is filled with metal parts, tools, and the smell of oil. That’s just the reality of engineering work. We’ve been in Avadi for a good while. The neighbors on Varriyar Street are used to us by now. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we can do. Some days are busier than others. When we aren't working, we’re usually just sitting by the door having a bit of water. It’s a simple life, really. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the equipment and getting the systems to work right for the people who need them.
