Sm Engineering

Our workshop is at number 160 on Alagiri Street, over in the Majestic Colony area of Valasarawakkam. Chennai can be a pretty hot place to work in engineering, but we have been doing it for years now. We handle various engineering tasks that come our way. It is a practical space filled with heavy tools, metal scraps, and various machines. We aren't really into the whole corporate branding thing. We just show up, do the engineering work, and go home. The street is usually fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on a tricky design or repair. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Chennai for quite a while so we know the local suppliers and how things move around here. Our team is small but we’ve been working together for long enough that we don't need to say much to get things done. Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, but that's just the nature of engineering. We figure it out and keep moving. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It's just grit and grease and getting the dimensions right. People come to us because they know we will give it a fair shot. It’s a simple operation based on years of just doing the job. No fancy presentations, just the actual work that needs to be finished today.
