Sk Stickers

Sk Stickers is a small shop sitting at 338-A on Gst Road in the Kadapperi area of Tambaram. If you’ve driven down the main road, you might have seen our sign. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for our equipment and a counter for customers. We spend a lot of time cutting vinyl and peeling backings. It’s tedious work sometimes, making sure all the little letters stay where they are supposed to. We do all sorts of stickers, for cars or shops or whatever people need. The floor is usually covered in little bits of waste paper by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it’s a losing battle until the shop closes. We are just a few regular folks working here. There isn't any corporate ladder to climb or big meetings to go to. We just listen to what people want and try to get it done without making a mess of it. Sometimes the printer jams or the colors come out a bit off and we have to redo the whole batch. It’s just part of the day-to-day. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make stickers. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Tambaram is a good place to be, and being on Gst Road means we see a lot of different people every day coming in with all sorts of ideas and requests for their vehicles or businesses.
