We are Shivas Industrial Caterers India Pvt Ltd. Our office and main kitchen are located at Sp 69 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. This is the 600058 area of Chennai. Like most of the other places in the industrial estate, we focus on getting things done without much fuss. We deal with bulk food orders for the companies that are located nearby. It is a lot of daily coordination with the suppliers to make sure the grains and vegetables arrive on time. The kitchen staff is usually here well before the sun comes up. It is a big operation because we have to cook for so many people all at once. We do not really have a front desk for visitors since it is mostly an industrial site. Most of our day is spent around big steam kettles and long prep tables. We have been part of the Ambattur landscape for many years now. It is a dusty and loud neighborhood, but it is where the work is. We are not trying to be anything fancy or high-end. We just provide meals to the workers who keep the local factories running. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, being a Pvt Ltd company and all, but we manage to keep up. We just keep our heads down and do the cooking. It is a straightforward business.
