Service Engineer

Systems Tek India Pvt Ltd is up on the second floor of No: 22 on Habibullah Road. T-Nagar is one of the busiest parts of Chennai, so the noise from the street is always there. Once you climb the stairs to the second floor, it gets a little bit more peaceful. We are a small group of service engineers working out of this space. The office has some big windows, but we keep the blinds shut most of the time to stop the sun from hitting the screens. There are computers and bits of testing gear all over the place. We've been in this Chennai-17 location for several years now. The stairs are narrow, which makes it a struggle when we have to move anything heavy. We don't have any fancy coffee machines here, just a simple kettle for making tea. The tiled floor is easy to clean, which is helpful because we end up with a lot of wire scraps. It’s a very functional environment. We haven't spent much on decorations or expensive chairs. Most of our day is just spent staring at circuit boards or taking machines apart. Outside, you can hear the buses and the noise of the market nearby. It’s a typical Chennai vibe. We just focus on the jobs we have and try to stay on top of the work.
