Service Engineer

Service Engineer is based out here in Kaveripuram Village, right on Arakkonam Road. It’s a quiet spot in the Vellore district, and things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. My name is G. Kathiravan, and I run the place from 109/102. It’s a village environment, so everyone knows who I am and what I do. We don’t have a fancy shop front with glass windows. It’s just a practical space where we can get some work done without being disturbed. Most of our calls come from the Nameli Post area or further down the T.K. in Arakkonam. I spend a lot of my time on my old scooter, riding out to different farms or small workshops to check on their machinery. The roads can be a bit bumpy, and it gets dusty, but it’s home. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on people talking to each other. If I do a decent job for one person, their cousin or neighbor usually calls me next week. It’s been that way for years. We keep our tools clean, but the floor is always covered in iron filings or bits of wire. It’s just how a workshop is supposed to look. We aren't fancy people, we just know our way around a machine. If you're coming from the main road, just look for the turn toward Nameli and you will find us easily.
