Service Engineer In Pillar Induction India Pvt Ltd

My place is in Arumbakkam, Chennai, right on Mettu Street near Rani Anna Nagar. Being a service engineer for Pillar Induction India Pvt Ltd means I deal with some pretty specific industrial stuff. Induction heating isn't something everyone understands, but it's important for the local shops and factories around here. My shop at 5/3 is where most of the work happens, though I am often out on the road visiting sites. Chennai heat is no joke, especially when you are working with equipment that is designed to get hot. I've been doing this for a while now, so I know the quirks of the machines. The floor is usually covered in spare parts and there's always a smell of hot metal or solder in the air. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but it’s where I get things done. I don't use any big fancy manuals much anymore because I've seen these problems a hundred times before. If a machine stops working, I just start poking around until I find the fault. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive, which can be a bit of a pain for the customers who are waiting. I just tell them how it is. No point in making promises I can't keep. It's just me and the machines, trying to keep things running in this corner of Chennai. I’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough that people just knock on the door when they need something.
