If you walk down Brahmin Street in Korattur, you will find us at number 31. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads around here. Our engineering setup is tucked away among the houses, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a factory. We have a small gate and a patch of concrete where we park our bikes. Inside, it’s a different story with lathes and tools taking up most of the room. We do a lot of precision work, so it requires a bit of focus, even when the neighbors are loud or there is music playing somewhere down the street. The walls are painted a pale green that is peeling in some places, but we don't mind. It’s been this way for a while. We drink a lot of coffee during the day to stay sharp. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little bit and we have to put sandbags by the door, but that’s just life in Korattur. Most of our customers are locals or small businesses from the nearby industrial estates. They know they can just drop in and talk to us about what they need. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few people who like working with their hands. We keep the machines running until about six and then we call it a day.
