Sarala Engineering Works

Sarala Engineering Works is tucked away in the New Tiny Sector over on Post Office Road. It is unit number 209. Being in Ambattur Industrial Estate means there is always noise and movement around us. We do metal work and machining here. It is a gritty job and the floor usually has some metal shavings on it. We have been working out of this spot for quite a bit of time now. The machines are running most of the day. It’s not a shiny showroom, just a workshop where things get built. People from the other units stop by when they need something fabricated or fixed. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy emails. Just us and the lathe machines. The Post Office Road is usually busy with trucks and small tempos. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the lane to make space. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. If you are looking for us, look for the sign in the Tiny Sector. We usually have the shutters half up to let some air in. My guys have been doing this for years, so they know their way around a blueprint. We just focus on the engineering side and don't worry about much else. It is an honest living in a tough part of the estate. The days are long, but we get the orders filled eventually and thats all that matters.
