Samayaa Cnc Engineers is based at No. 19 Bansali Avenue in the Tass Industrial Estate over in Ambattur. If you know the area, you know it's a lot of metal and machine shops. That’s exactly what we are. We have our CNC machines set up and they run pretty much all day long. The air usually smells like cutting oil and metal shavings. We take the designs people give us and turn them into actual parts. It’s precise work, so we have to pay attention to the machines and the tools we're using. Sometimes a tool breaks or a program has a bug, and we have to stop and fix it. It's just part of being an engineer. The workshop isn't the cleanest place, but it's where we work. We've got our benches and our toolboxes all organized in a way that makes sense to us. Ambattur is a good place for this kind of work because there are so many other shops nearby if we need a specific part or some help. We don't really do much besides work on the machines and talk to the people who need parts made. It's a lot of standing on your feet and checking measurements. We’ve been here for a while and we plan on staying. It’s a solid shop and we get the jobs done. It takes some patience to get everything lined up just right, but we don't mind the extra effort.
