Saktthi Footwear

Being over here in Nesapakkam at 7, K. K. Nagar, we see a lot of people passing by on Pillayar Koil Street. Saktthi Footwear isn't a massive mall store; it is more of a practical spot where we handle all sorts of shoes and sandals. The shelves are pretty high, and sometimes we have to use the old ladder to reach the boxes at the very top. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fan running at full speed. Most of the staff here have been around for years, so we know each other's habits and families pretty well. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and making sure everything is sorted by size. It can get messy when a big shipment arrives, and boxes end up blocking the narrow aisle for a few hours. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone, talk to the people who walk in, and keep things moving. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and the temple nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front during a quiet patch just to get some air. It is a simple life here, just making sure people get the footwear they need without too much fuss or extra cost.
