Zeeko Shoe Factory

Our factory sits at 16/88 in Sadar Bhatti. It’s an old building, but it serves us well for making shoes. Zeeko Shoe Factory has been part of this neighborhood for a bit now. You can usually hear the stitching machines clicking away from the street. We work with a lot of leather and rubber, cutting and glueing things together. The smell of contact cement is pretty strong inside, but we’re used to it. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we make it work. Most of the staff here have good hands for this kind of stuff. We make different styles, mostly stuff that people can wear every day without thinking about it. Sadar Bhatti is a busy place, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you'll see stacks of soles and uppers waiting to be put together. Sometimes we get a big order and everyone has to scramble, but mostly it’s a steady pace. We just want to make decent footwear that doesn't fall apart. There’s no secret to it, just keeping the needles moving and the glue dry. It’s a humble setup, nothing more than a local shoe shop doing its daily chores. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but we’re still here doing the same thing every morning. We just focus on the craft and keep our heads down.
