Sakthis Kitchen East Tambaram

Our kitchen is located on the first floor over in Tambaram East. We are at number two on the 2nd Main Street, right in the Raja Kilpakkam area. Being near the K V School means we see a lot of parents and students walking by during the day. It’s a bit of a climb up to the first floor, but it’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We have been here for a bit, just cooking and serving whoever comes up the stairs. The area around Raja Kilpakkam has changed a lot, but we just stay doing what we know. The kitchen isn't very big, but we make it work for everything we need to do. We spend most of our time getting things ready for the lunch rush. It gets pretty warm in the back when all the stoves are going. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front, just the name on the door. People usually find us because they live nearby or they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a very local kind of place where you see the same faces quite often. We just keep our heads down and get the cooking done. Sometimes it’s busy and sometimes it’s slow, but that’s just the way it goes. We are just a small kitchen in a busy part of Tambaram trying to keep things moving. We do our best to keep things simple and practical for everyone who stops by for a meal.
