We’re located at No 105 in Venkateswara Nagar, which is inside the Union Carbide Colony area of Kodungaiyur in Chennai. Even though our name mentions Anna Nagar, this is where we actually do the work every day. It’s a typical Chennai neighborhood with plenty of noise and activity from the morning onwards. Our main job is placement services, meaning we try to connect people who need jobs with businesses that have openings. The office is a simple one. We don’t have fancy glass walls or expensive coffee machines like you see on TV. We just have our desks and a few chairs for visitors who come by to drop off their details. Most of our days are spent on the phone or typing up notes from interviews. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, but we have a few fans going to keep things moving. We deal with all sorts of roles, from entry-level positions to things that require more experience. There isn’t a secret formula to what we do. We just look at the skills people have and try to find a place that needs those specific skills. Sometimes it works out quickly, and other times it’s a bit of a struggle to find a match. We stay busy with the paperwork and keeping track of who is hiring in the city. It’s practical work for us, and we’ve been doing it from this spot for a good while now. We’re just here to help.
