Our office is on the third floor of the K. R. Building, which is located at 124 Lattice Bridge Road in Adyar. Most people just call it LB Road. It’s a very well-known part of the city, and the traffic is almost always heavy outside. Being on the third floor helps us stay a bit away from the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking throughout the day. Sai Mirra Pharmaceuticals has been operating from this Adyar location for quite some time now. The building is one of those older commercial structures with a small elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. Inside, our space is divided into a few different rooms for admin and storage. It’s not a sprawling office, but we make it work. We spend our hours looking over orders and making sure the logistics side of things is handled. The staff usually grabs tea from the stall downstairs during the afternoon break. We aren't into the corporate culture of long meetings and powerpoint presentations. We just sit at our desks, do the work, and head home. The windows look out over the shops and the bus stand, so there’s always something to see. We like being in Adyar because everything is close by, even if the parking is a nightmare. It’s a practical place for us to be, and we’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We don't need much more than that.
