You can find us at B1 Narayani Apartments which is in the Alwarthirunagar area. We are located near Laser Soft Inc and Velan Nagar so it is a fairly quiet residential part of town. Running a catering service from an apartment building like this means we have to be very organized. We started Sai Catering Service to help out with local events and family gatherings in the neighborhood. Our kitchen is always smelling like fresh spices and we spend a lot of time packing boxes and loading them up. Chennai heat is no joke especially when you are standing over a stove all day. We know the 600087 area very well and have lived around here for a long time. It is not a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who know how to cook and manage the orders. We have to be careful not to bother the neighbors too much with all the activity. Sometimes we are up very late at night or very early in the morning depending on when the food needs to be delivered. We don't have a big storefront with lights. Most of our work happens behind the scenes in the kitchen. We focus on the things we can control like the ingredients and the timing. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in the community.
