We are located at 68Thambian Road in West Mambalam. If you know Chennai, you know West Mambalam is a very busy, traditional area. The streets are always full of people, cows, and scooters. Our office is right in the middle of all that. It’s an old building, and we’ve been here at S. R. M. Medicals for a long time. The space inside is a bit tight because we have so many files and boxes piled up, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We usually start the day early before the traffic on the road gets too bad. Most of the people working here live nearby, so they know the shortcuts through the alleys. We don't have a lot of modern bells and whistles. Our desks are old-fashioned wooden ones, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But it’s a comfortable place to work. We spend our time coordinating with different suppliers and making sure the medicine reaches where it needs to go. There’s always someone coming in or out, and the phone never really stops ringing. We don't use a lot of fancy software; we still rely a lot on our notebooks and ledgers. It feels like a proper local business where everyone knows everyone else’s name. It's busy and loud, but that's just life in Mambalam. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
