S K Signs & Traders

At S K Signs & Traders, we are located at 4A Rakiappan Street in Mylapore. This is an old part of the city, and our street has its own character. It’s narrow and can get quite busy with people and scooters. We’ve been here for quite some time, fitting into the rhythm of the neighborhood. Our shop is a mix of a workspace and a place where we keep our supplies. It’s not very big, so we have to be smart about where we put things. We do signs and we trade in various materials that other people in our line of work might need. We don't have a fancy business model. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes it’s quiet and we can catch up on old projects, and other times it’s a mad rush. We talk to the people who walk past and we know the other traders on the street. It’s a very human way to work. We don't have any corporate branding or a big logo on everything. We just have our name on the door. People come to us because they know we are here and we’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s not about being the best; it’s just about being reliable and doing the work right there in Mylapore. We like our little street and the people on it.
