S J Graphics

S J Graphics is situated at 72, G N T Road in Moolakadai. We are in the Erukancheri area, right across from the Shanmuga Theatre. Because of the theatre, our street is always busy, especially in the evenings when a movie is about to start or finish. We do a lot of graphic work, specifically for signs and banners. You can often see us cutting vinyl or checking colors on a large monitor. The shop is long and narrow, filled with rolls of different materials and containers of ink. We have been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The traffic on G N T Road is heavy, so there is always a bit of dust, but we try to keep our equipment clean. We have some samples of old work on the walls so people can see the sizes before they order. We don't have any salespeople; it is just us doing the actual work. Customers usually come in with a rough idea of what they want, and we sit down and try to figure out a design that fits their budget. It is a practical process without any fluff. We focus on making sure the letters are big enough to read from the road. When the movie crowd lets out, the whole area gets very lively, and we often stay open late to catch up on our backlog of work. It’s just how things are here.
