S. Ibrahim & Company is situated at 811, Anna Salai, which is one of the busiest roads you’ll find in this part of the country. We’ve been sitting at this address for a long time now, watching the city change while our building stays pretty much the same. The office isn't anything fancy or modern, just a practical space where we handle our daily business without much fuss. The walls are a bit faded and the desks are covered with stacks of folders and old pens. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and talking to the folks who drop by. Anna Salai is always noisy with the sound of buses and cars, and that constant hum has just become the background to our working lives. We don't have any big slogans or complicated plans for the future. We just come in, do the work that needs to be done, and make sure everything is lined up for the next day. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets pretty heavy, so we keep the ceiling fans going on full speed. We know all the other shop owners around here, and there’s a nice sense of community even in such a crowded area. It’s a simple, honest way of working that hasn't changed much since we first opened. We focus on the tasks right in front of us, whether that’s answering the phone or checking a delivery that just arrived.
