Our office is at New No. 317 on Thambu Chetty Street. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how crowded and hectic it can get with all the trading going on. We’ve been operating as Mehta Doshi & Co. from this location for quite a while. The building is one of those older structures that has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit worn out. We handle a variety of trading goods and paperwork. The office is basically just a room filled with filing cabinets, a few desks, and a lot of paper. We aren't very big on technology, though we have a computer for the essentials. Most of our business is done through old-fashioned talking and shaking hands. We have a lot of regular people who drop by just to check on their orders or have a quick chat. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, and the noise from the street never really stops. We have a small corner for making coffee, which keeps us going through the day. We don’t have any fancy titles or corporate structure. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving. We know our neighbors and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a simple, steady routine that we’ve followed for years. We open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. No mission statements here, just a lot of lists and daily tasks.
