B. C. Raja & Company

Our office is located at 118/33 on General Patters Road, near Annasalai. Anyone who knows Chennai knows that GP Road is the place for anything related to vehicles. It’s a very old part of the city and the streets are narrow and always packed with vehicles and carts. We’ve been B. C. Raja & Company for a long time. Our building is one of those older structures that has survived the changes in the city. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and engine oil. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly related to auto parts and supplies. We don’t have a modern showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have wooden counters and old shelves that have been here since we started. A lot of our day involves writing out bills and checking stock levels. It’s not very high-tech, but it works for us. We have a few staff members who have been with us for decades. They know the customers by their first names. Sometimes it takes a while to find a specific item in the back, but we eventually get there. The traffic outside is constant, and the sound of horns is just background noise to us now. We don't do anything fancy to get customers. They just know we're here on the corner. It's an honest, everyday kind of business. We keep the doors open and just get on with it.
