We are located at L-5 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. Rpv Engineering Industries is the name we have had on our front gate for years. Ambattur is a massive place with thousands of units, so it is easy for people to get lost trying to find us. Our unit is a bit on the older side, and you can see where the paint has started to peel off the walls. We do mostly heavy engineering work here, so there is usually the constant sound of welding machines or metal being cut. It can be a pretty tough environment to work in, especially during the monsoon when the roof has a few small leaks near the storage area. We have a tiny wooden cabin that serves as our office for the paperwork, but we spend most of our hours out on the production floor. We do not bother with a lot of high-tech gadgets unless they are actually necessary for the engineering work. Our staff has stayed with us for a long time, so we have become a very close-knit group. We usually eat our lunch together on the old benches we kept in the back of the shop. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person because we would rather spend that money on maintaining our equipment and buying better tools. It is just a straightforward, honest engineering shop in the middle of a busy estate.
