Royal Moon Prints

Our shop is located at Plot No- 31 on Malaya Perumal Street. If you know Parrys, you know how tight these lanes can get. Royal Moon Prints has been tucked away here for some time. The air always smells a bit like ink and paper dust. We have these old printing presses that make a lot of noise when they’re running. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the rhythm of it. The street outside is always full of people and carts moving goods around. We keep our supplies stacked against the back wall to save space. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when a big shipment of paper arrives. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just find us by walking down the street or hearing about us from others. When the monsoon hits, we have to move all the paper pallets to the very center of the room to keep them from getting damp. The roof has a small leak in the corner that we keep a bucket under. Malaya Perumal Street gets quite crowded during the festival seasons, and we can barely get through the front door. We've got a small calendar on the wall where we mark off the deadlines. Our hands are usually stained with different colors by the end of the shift. We use a lot of old rags to clean the rollers. It's a bit messy, but that's printing for you. One of us just wipes our hands to answer the door.
