Rks Engineering Industries is right here on Depot Street in Schoolai. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly busy shops and small workshops tucked away in the narrow lanes. Our place at number 19 is pretty much what you’d expect from an engineering spot that’s been around the block for a long time. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls or fancy carpets. It’s a real workspace with grease on the floor and the constant sound of metal being worked on all day long. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we don’t really need to talk much to get the job done. We just show up, start the machines, and work through whatever orders came in. Schoolai can get pretty crowded, especially with the transport trucks and the noise from the depot nearby, but we’re used to it. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of oil and burnt metal, which is just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy brochures or big promises. We just handle the lathes and the fabrication work that comes our way. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat gets a bit too much in the afternoons, but we just take a break, grab some tea from the stall down the road, and get back to it. It’s a straightforward life here. We make the parts people need and keep things moving.
