Refrigeration Centre

The Refrigeration Centre is located right in T Nagar. We occupy 27/1 and 36 on New Boag Road. If you know T Nagar, you know how crowded it gets, especially during the festival seasons. Our place is basically a warehouse and a shop rolled into one. We have rows of shelves filled with everything you could need for a fridge or a cooling system. It’s often a bit messy because we’re constantly moving boxes and checking inventory. The floor is concrete and we’ve got fans running all day to keep the air moving. People come in from all over the city because they know we carry the odd parts that are hard to find elsewhere. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just metal racks and the smell of dust and cardboard. We’ve been on New Boag Road for years, and the neighbors all know us. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit when things are slow, just watching the scooters go by. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity hits, but we’re used to it. We deal with mechanics, small business owners, and regular people who are trying to fix their own appliances. We just give them what they need and send them on their way. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, we close up when the street lights come on.
