Refimec

Refimec. We are situated on Lattice Bridge Road in Thiruvanmiyur. This part of Chennai is always moving, and LB Road is one of the main veins. Our place is more of a workshop and office combined. We have been here for a while and have seen the flyovers and new buildings come up all around us. The shop floor is usually a bit greasy because of the nature of the work we do. We don't have a fancy reception area with a sofa; it’s mostly just desks and shelves full of tools and parts. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We start our day early before the heat gets too bad. Thiruvanmiyur is a nice area, even with all the congestion. We have a lot of regulars who know us and just drop by to discuss their requirements. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy signs. The name Refimec is painted on the front and that’s about it. Most of the time, we are busy with our hands and don't have much time for small talk, but we always try to be helpful. The power goes out sometimes in the summer, which is a pain, but we just deal with it like everyone else. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place on a very busy road. We keep a calendar on the wall to track all the jobs, and it’s usually quite full.
