Out here in Tirupur, we’ve got our setup at 2/525 Varathottam in Sevanthampalayam. If you’ve ever been to this part of the country, you know it’s all about the textiles. We are right in the middle of it. Our space is filled with the sound of machines and the smell of new fabric most days. It’s a garment business, so there’s always heaps of cloth being moved around and people busy at their stations. It’s not a quiet office job. It’s dusty and loud and often quite hot, but that is just the way garment work goes in Tirupur. We don't have a marketing team or anyone in fancy clothes walking around. We are mostly in our work gear, making sure the orders are moving out on time. The address is a bit tucked away, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where we are. We deal with the daily struggles of power cuts and shipping delays, just like everyone else around here. It’s hard work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We just make the clothes, pack them up, and get them sent where they need to go. There’s a certain rhythm to the factory that you only understand if you spend your whole day here. It’s just us, some heavy machines, and a lot of cotton, trying to make a living.
