Rayyaan Foods is tucked away at number 32 in Villivakkam, right near the cinema hall. It’s actually a pretty good landmark because everyone knows where the theater is. When a big movie comes out, the whole street gets packed with people and it becomes quite a task just to get to our front door. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a regular place where we store and handle the food items. We’ve been in this part of Villivakkam for a while, and the neighbors all know us. It gets a bit noisy during the evening shows, but during the day it’s mostly just the sound of our own work. The interior is functional, with plenty of shelves and a small area for paperwork. We aren't trying to be a fancy gourmet shop; we just provide food products to the people who need them. Sometimes the ceiling leaks a little when the monsoon hits hard, so we have to move the boxes around, but that’s just part of being in an older building. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily grind of getting things sorted. Most of our days are spent checking the stock and talking to the delivery guys who stop by for their pickups. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes but we make it work regardless of the crowd outside.
