You can find us at Shop No. 2/8 in Velachery, right near the Vijaya Nagar bus stand. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement and noise around our office. We have been teaching driving in this part of Chennai for quite a while now. Our shop is small, just enough space for a desk and some chairs for people waiting for their turn or filling out forms. Most of the work happens outside on the roads, though. We take students through the busy streets of Velachery to make sure they can handle the real traffic of Chennai. It’s a lot of work coordinating the schedules and making sure the cars are ready to go every single morning. We aren't a big corporation; it’s more of a local operation where we know many of the families around here. People come to us because we are convenient to get to by bus or on foot. Driving can be stressful to learn, so we try to keep things calm in the car, even when the horns are blaring outside. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just the Chennai weather for you. We keep a logbook of all the lessons and help people with their RTO paperwork. It is straightforward, honest work, and we’ve seen hundreds of people get their licenses over the years. We just take it one student at a time and try to be helpful to everyone who walks in to see us.
