Rajams Digital Offset Prints

We are located at 227 Peters Road in Royapettah, which is one of those streets that always seems to be busy no matter what time it is. The building itself is older, and you can feel the vibrations of the heavy printing presses through the floorboards when they are running a big job. It’s a dusty place because of all the paper we move through here. We have stacks of cardstock and glossy paper piled up almost to the ceiling in some parts of the shop. The air is thick with the smell of ink and the heat from the offset machines. We spend a lot of time mixing colors and checking the plates to make sure nothing is blurry. It’s physical work, and our clothes often end up with small dots of ink that never come out in the wash. There is a small counter at the front where we talk to customers, but most of the action happens in the back where the noise is. We don't have any air conditioning in the main workshop area, just some big ceiling fans that hum as they spin. Sometimes we have to work through the night to finish a large order for a local event. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’ve been on Peters Road long enough that everyone knows where to find us. We just keep the rollers moving and try to stay on top of the schedule as best we can.
