Rainbow Traders

Rainbow Traders is located at No 66 on Tana Street in Purasawalkam. It is a very busy part of Chennai, and we are right near the church, which is a major landmark. On many days, the street is packed with people shopping for all sorts of things. Our shop is a bit old, and we deal in various trading goods. We don't have a specific specialty; we just stock what we think people in the area will buy, like plastic items or small household tools. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we have boxes piled up everywhere. We aren't trying to look like a showroom. It’s a practical workspace where we do our business every day. Me and my helpers are usually busy moving stuff around or helping a customer find something specific in the stacks. Purasawalkam is a place where you have to be quick, or you get left behind. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we’ve stayed here at No 66. We don’t have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to sell our goods and make a living. The noise from Tana Street is something we don't even notice anymore. It’s just part of our day. If someone comes in looking for something we don't have, we try to tell them who else on the street might have it. It’s just a local way of doing things.
