Gani Imports

Mini Street in Sowcarpet is always a bit of a mess, but that’s just how it is here. Gani Imports is located at 7/8, right in the thick of all that activity. If you’ve ever walked through these lanes, you know it’s crowded and loud with carts and people moving everywhere. We handle imports, so our days are mostly spent dealing with containers, customs stuff, and a lot of boxes. The office isn't very big, and most of the space is taken up by samples or files that we haven’t put away yet. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction always happening nearby, but we manage. We’ve been in this part of Sowcarpet for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors and the guys who deliver the tea. There’s no air conditioning in the main storage area, so it gets quite hot in the summer months. We just keep the fans going and stay focused on the work. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. People find us through word of mouth or because they saw our name on a delivery crate. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We get the items in, we check them, and then we send them out to whoever ordered them. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordination, but it’s what we know how to do. The street is never quiet, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
