Rabs Engineering Works

Our shop is over at No. 61 and 62 on Eswaran Koil Street in Porur. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic out front can get a bit much during the rush hours. We’ve got two units side by side, which helps when things get crowded with materials. Most days you’ll hear the sound of machines running from early morning until we close up for the evening. It’s not the quietest work, but that’s engineering for you. The street itself is pretty lively with people heading to the temple or just going about their business. We’ve been in Porur long enough to know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy out on the road, but we just keep the shutters down a bit and carry on. Inside Rabs Engineering Works, it’s mostly just workbenches and piles of metal parts waiting to be finished. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a place where things get made. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the road, and that’s about the only break we take. We try to keep things organized, but in this line of work, there’s always a bit of clutter around the floor. It’s just how it is when you’re busy. We’re usually here if you need to drop something off or pick up a finished piece. We just stay on track with what we have to do.
