Quscient

You can find Quscient over at B 7 in the Ashok Flats, located in Chennai with the pincode 600083. We’ve been in this apartment complex for a while now, and it’s a pretty standard place to work. Chennai is known for its humidity, so most of our day is spent inside with the air conditioning running while we work on our projects. The Ashok Flats are tucked away enough that we don’t get too much of the main road noise, which is nice. We aren't a big corporate entity with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group working out of a flat. Each room has been turned into an office space, and we have our servers and computers set up wherever they fit best. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a lot of paperwork to go through, but we managed to make it comfortable. We usually eat lunch together in the small kitchen area or go out to a local mess nearby for some South Indian food. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived here for years, so we try to be respectful of the shared spaces. It’s a very straightforward way of running a business. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate buzzwords. We just focus on the technical work and making sure everything is running the way it should be. It’s a quiet, busy life here in Chennai.
