Our office for Abc Environ Solutions Pvt Ltd is on Amman Street in Choolaimedu. If you have ever been to this part of Chennai, you know the streets are pretty narrow and it can be a real struggle to find parking most days. We are at number 18 in Padmanaban Nagar. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the bikes and the nearby shops. We deal with environmental stuff, mostly looking at water and waste issues for local projects. The office itself is just an old building that we have repurposed. It has got high ceilings and some old wooden desks that have seen better days. We do not have a big shiny sign outside, just a small one near the gate that people often miss. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons, so we have a few old fans going at full speed. We are not some big international firm with offices in every country. We are just a local team that knows the city and its problems. We spend a lot of time out on sites, so the office is often half-empty during the day. When we are here, we are usually buried under reports and maps. We do not use fancy slogans or try to sound like we are saving the world. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do them right.
