A Leading Banking Mnc

Over at No 9 Subbiah Naidu Street in Vepery, Chennai, you will find our office. It is an MNC setup, so it feels a bit larger than your neighborhood bank branch. There are a lot of departments and floors where people are working on various financial transactions and backend banking processes. Chennai weather is usually quite hot, so the air conditioning is always running at full blast to keep everyone comfortable while they work on their computers. We have a lot of people coming in for shifts at different times of the day. The street outside, Subbiah Naidu Street, is a busy place with plenty of local traffic and people moving about. Inside the building, it is mostly quiet except for the hum of the servers and the low murmur of people in meetings. We have a cafeteria where everyone gathers for lunch and talks about things other than banking for a few minutes. It is a structured environment with a lot of rules and protocols because that is just how banking works at this level. We do not have fancy decorations, just the functional desks and chairs needed to get through the daily tasks. It is a regular workplace for hundreds of people who live in and around the Vepery area and come here to earn their living. It is a big operation but we keep it moving one day at a time without any unnecessary complications.
