Abb Limitedharyanaindia

Even though the name says Abb Limitedharyanaindia, we are actually based way down south in Chennai. Our office is at No 2, or the New No 3, on Tholasinga Gramani Street. This is in Old Washermenpet, which is one of the older, more crowded parts of the city. The zip code is 600021. Being in Tamilnadu is quite different from being up north. The street is usually buzzing with activity, and since we are near the coast, the air always feels a bit salty and humid. It is a tight street, so there isn't much room for big trucks or anything like that. We are in a traditional style building that has been here for years. The transition from the old number 2 to the new number 3 still confuses some people, but we usually just tell them to look for the blue door. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have some fans going all day to deal with the Chennai heat. There are no corporate logos on every wall, just our equipment and some old calendars. We do our business here in a very straightforward way. It’s loud outside with the sounds of the city, but we’ve gotten used to it. Washermenpet has a lot of history, and working on Tholasinga Gramani Street feels like being right in the middle of real life, rather than being stuck in a sterile office park somewhere.
