Kotturpuram is where we set everything up. It’s been our home base for Quality Catering Services for quite some time now. Most days start way before the sun even thinks about coming up because that is just how the food business goes. You can’t really cut corners when people are expecting their lunch or dinner on time. We are tucked away here, and the kitchen usually smells like whatever we are prepping for the day, maybe some sambar or a heavy curry. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one that gets the job done. Our staff mostly live nearby or have been commuting to this part of Kotturpuram for years. We chose the name because it was simple and told people what we were trying to do without any extra fluff. Sometimes the orders are big, sometimes they are just small gatherings, but the work feels the same either way. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure the pots and pans are ready for the next round. It is hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood knows us, and we know the neighborhood. It’s a quiet enough spot until the delivery vans start pulling in and out. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that, just our space where the cooking happens and a small desk for the paperwork. It gets hot in the kitchen, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Anyway, that is pretty much us.
