Q5 Studios

Q5 Studios is located at Old No 20, New No 41 on Muthial Chetty Street in Purasawalkam. It’s pretty easy to find because we’re right opposite the Madhar Sha parking area. Chennai is always moving, and Purasawalkam is one of those places that never seems to get quiet. We work out of this studio doing various creative projects. It might be photography one day or some design work the next. The space is a bit lived-in, with cables running across the floor and different backdrops propped up against the walls. We don’t have a receptionist or a polished waiting room. Usually, you’ll just find us hunched over a screen or moving lights around. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We moved into this building because the location is central for our clients. Sometimes the noise from the parking lot outside can be a bit much, but you get used to it. We don’t spend money on big ads. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from someone else. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We try to keep our gear in good shape and keep our heads down. Every day is a bit different here. Sometimes the coffee gets cold before we have a chance to drink it because we’re focused on a project. That’s just life in the studio. We have been in this neighborhood for a while now.
