Print City Designers & Printers

You can find us on the first floor of number 17 Narayanappan Street. We are located in George Town, right near the Measi Matriculation School. It’s a very narrow and busy street, so you have to keep your eyes open for the entrance. Being on the first floor means we are a bit away from the dust of the street, but we still hear everything going on below. We have our computers and printing machines set up in a way that makes the most of the space we have. It’s not a huge office, but it gets the job done for the designing and the printing work we do. There are always stacks of paper and boxes of ink sitting around. Sometimes the school kids walk by and it gets a bit louder outside, but mostly we are just focused on the monitors and the printers. We spend a lot of our day looking at layouts and making sure the colors look right. We aren't the type to wear suits or anything; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. People from around the neighborhood come up the stairs with all kinds of requests, from wedding cards to business flyers. We just take the orders and get to work. It’s a steady rhythm and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of this old building over time. It is a bit loud but it suits us.
