Prems Funkfusion Events & Entertainments

Our office for Prems Funkfusion Events & Entertainments is up on the third floor on Prakasam Street. It’s in Janaki Nagar, right in the Valasaravakkam area. If you know where the McDonald's is, we are pretty much right there. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but it’s a good spot. We’ve got a mix of things going on here, mostly trying to keep track of different entertainers and vendors. The name is a bit long, we know, but it stuck. We aren't a corporate setup with suits and ties. Mostly it’s just jeans and shirts while we run around trying to make sure the sound system works or the stage is sturdy enough. Valasaravakkam has a lot of energy, and we try to match that. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or talking to caterers. It gets loud sometimes when we’re testing music, but the neighbors are mostly okay with it. We don't have a grand philosophy. We just show up and do the work. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch because things are moving so fast. That’s just how it goes in this business. We like the variety. One day it’s a kid’s party, the next it’s something totally different. We’re just local folks keeping busy and trying to make things happen in our corner of the city.
