Our place is at Old No. 12, which is now New No. 29, on Mohammed Hussain Khan Lane. It’s just off Dr. Besant Road in Royapettah, Chennai. If you know Royapettah, you know the lanes can be a bit confusing with the old and new numbers, but we’ve been here long enough that people usually find us. Precision Instruments Electronics M Pvt Ltd is a bit of a long name, isn't it? We mostly deal with electronic instruments and various gadgets. The office is in a building that has seen many years. It has that specific Chennai feel to it, especially when the humidity is high. We have shelves full of components and old manuals that we still look at sometimes. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There is usually a stray cat hanging around the lane outside and the sound of bells from nearby temples. We work on various electronic boards and testing equipment. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to find one small fault in a circuit. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The 600014 area is quite lively, so there’s always something happening outside. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in Royapettah for a long time and we know what we’re doing with our hands. It's just a basic, hardworking electronics shop at heart.
