Prabharan Driving School

This is Prabharan Driving School, and we are located at No. 80/116 on Ps Sivasami Salai. We are right in the middle of Mylapore, which is a very old and busy part of Chennai 600004. You can find us pretty easily because we are near Vivekananda College. There are always students walking around and plenty of tea shops nearby. Our office is a small room where we keep our files and take down names of people who want to learn to drive. It isn't anything fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our daylight hours in the cars. Driving around Mylapore is a challenge because the streets are narrow and there are many people walking. We teach people how to use the clutch and the gears without stalling the engine. It takes a lot of time and sometimes we get stuck in heavy traffic for an hour. We just talk to the students and try to keep them calm. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired from the heat and the noise. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the roads well. It is just a local business helping people get their licenses so they can get to work or school. We keep the cars maintained and the paperwork ready for everyone throughout the week.
