Prabakaran Driving School

If you are walking down P S Sivasami Salai in Mylapore, you will find us at No 80/116. We are really close to Vivekananda College, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and students moving around. Prabakaran Driving School has been around this part of Chennai 600004 for a while. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the sun isn't too hot yet. We spend most of our time out on the roads, teaching people how to handle a steering wheel without getting too nervous. Mylapore can be a tricky place to drive with all the narrow lanes and cows sometimes, so it is a good place to learn. The office itself is small and simple. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn or fill out forms. It is not a very quiet area because of the college and the traffic, but we like the energy. Sometimes we just sit outside and watch the cars go by on Sivasami Salai. We don’t use any big fancy simulators or anything, just real cars and real roads. Most of our students are local kids or people from around the neighborhood. We just try to get through the day and make sure everyone gets their practice in. It is a lot of sitting in traffic and being patient with new drivers. We just keep the cars running and the students learning every day until the sun goes down.
