We’ve been around for a good while now, running things out of our office on the 4th floor of the MHU Complex. It’s right there on Anna Salai in Nandanam. The address is actually New No 692, but some folks still remember it as Old No 473. That happens a lot around here with the way the roads change names or numbers. Poompuhar Shipping Corporation Ltd is what we go by. It’s a busy place. Most days we are just keeping up with the paperwork and making sure the ships are doing what they are supposed to do. Shipping is a lot of logistics, really. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking on the phone. The office isn't anything too fancy, just a regular place to work. Being in the MHU Complex makes it easy for people to find us since it's a known spot in the area. We deal with all sorts of cargo and schedules. It gets a bit loud sometimes with the traffic outside on Anna Salai, but you get used to it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. There’s always another boat or another bit of cargo to worry about. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years from our windows. It's just a regular group of us working here, trying to stay organized and get things where they need to go. We don't have many meetings, mostly just quick chats across the desks.
