You can find us at Transworld 2 on 9th Lane, just off Dr Radha Krishnan Salai in Mylapore. We are quite close to Citi Financial Services, which helps people locate the lane when they get lost. Mylapore is a place with a lot of character, and our office fits right into the busy, somewhat cramped atmosphere of the area. We spend our days managing shipping routes and talking to clients about their cargo. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication to make sure things are moving as they should across the sea. The office isn't overly formal; we usually have a radio playing in the background while we work. We’ve got a mix of experienced people who have been in shipping for thirty years and some younger folks learning the ropes. The 9th Lane can get a bit tight for parking, so we mostly walk or take the bus to work. Our desks are covered in notebooks and printouts of logistics charts. We don't go in for big presentations; we just tell people the status of their shipments as it is. Some days the internet acts up or the phones are down, but we manage to get the job done regardless. It's a steady life here, focusing on the movement of goods from one part of the world to another. We know the local tea seller by name, and that's the kind of place this is. Simple, honest work in a historic part of town.
